Photo Analysis
- Minimalism has made real the idea of style. I've found myself avoiding more of the cliche and being just a little bit more choosey in what I was shooting. It is a melancholy style, and I like it.
- Placement in minimalism is interesting. I found myself looking for a tiny object in a lot of sameness. I think I can expand on this quite a bit, but I think I've opened up my mind for a good start.
- I've avoided most layers in an effort for the "less is more" ideology of minimalism. In fact, where I found layers, I cropped most of them them out.
- Most of my pictures were set with a wide AV setting, but the salmon berry I zoomed in and used a narrow AV setting.
- Minimalism, I think, made light less of a challenge, since I was more interested in the space rather than the object. That said, I tended to underexpose these picture to gather more shadows.
- I rather think I like minimalism and I would like to play around with this a lot more.
